April Life Lessons Discussion Guide

$6.95Price
  • This set of worksheets include questions from the same scriptures used in the Lifeway Bible Studies for Life curriculum series.  This quarter, they're taken from John and 1 & 2 Kings.

As for teaching with discussion questions - - It's a powerful method that mirrors Jesus’ own teaching style.  For example, in Matthew 16:13-15, He asked, “Who do you say that I am?”, compelling His disciples to reflect on His true identity. In Luke 10:25-37, He responded to a lawyer’s question with another question, guiding him to engage personally with Scripture. By following Jesus’ example, we encourage learners to think critically, wrestle with truth, and apply biblical principles to their lives.

When you ask your classquestions, it demands their active participation, personal reflection, and meaningful dialogue, leading to deeper spiritual growth. Proverbs 27:17 reminds us, “Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another.”   In addition, questions not only engage students but also allow the Holy Spirit to work uniquely in each person’s heart (John 14:26).

By incorporating thoughtful discussion into Bible teaching, you'll move beyond passive learning and cultivate an environment where God’s Word truly comes alive in a personal and meaningful way.
