Steve's Bible Questions - Teaching Adults made easy.

Why Questions ?
Simply put: It's the way Jesus taught.
Jesus frequently used questions in His teaching to engage His audience, provoke reflection, and reveal deeper truths. This method encouraged His listeners to think critically and examine their own hearts. For example, in Matthew 16:15, Jesus asked His disciples, "But who do you say that I am?" This question led to Peter's profound confession of faith, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God." By asking questions, Jesus guided people toward understanding rather than simply giving them answers, making His teaching personal and transformative. For those teaching the Bible to adults, this model is powerful—it invites learners to wrestle with the text and its application to their lives, fostering deeper engagement and spiritual growth.
It's also easier - - Personally, I sometimes find it to be a daunting task to spend all the time studying and preparing to teach - -week in and week out. I sometimes wonder if I'm getting through to class members. Using a questions approach spreads the load a bit by tapping into class members experiences and insights.
Finally, it meets class members where they are, and challenges them to think for themselves about the scriptures.
